JON HUTCHEON
Jon is a co-owner of Elev802 Boston. Alumni of Jon’s programs have competed at the NCAA, minor pro, Olympic and NHL levels. Jon spent 5 years with the St. Louis Blues as a skills coach every summer during their Development Camp and worked with 14 of their players on the 2019 Stanley Cup Championship Blues. Before opening Elev802 Boston, Jon won two USA Hockey 18U National Championships with the Neponset Valley River Rats and South Kent Selects Academy. Jon had a successful hockey career that included four years playing professionally before transitioning into coaching. He started his predecessor company, High End Hockey, in 2010 with a small skills group and summer tournament team.
Anthony joined our staff full time in 2023 after graduating from Connecticut College. Anthony is currently a head skills coach here at Elev802 Boston and Director of Player Development. Coach "Q" played at St. John's Prep where he won a Super 8 title in 2015, after his high school career, he spent one season in the NAHL and NCDC before joining the Camels at Conn College. Anthony has been skating with Jon Hutcheon since 2013 and previously spent his summers as a shooter for Stop It Goaltending.
Skating Treadmill Director
Shawn has been a skills instructor for the past 20 years previously with High End Hockey and the Hockey Academy. Shawn played collegiate hockey at Fitchburg State University and then embarked upon a referee career that saw him officiate numerous Boston Bruins training camps and IIHF World events. Shawn has worked with notable NHL player such as Jay Pandolfo, Scott Gomez, Jack Eichel, Conor Sheary and more.
Don has been coaching for over 20 years at all levels and has worked with Elev802 Boston since 2021. Prior to joining Elev802 Boston, Don spent three summer working with High End Hockey and coached in the Boston Jr Rangers youth program as the 2007 Head Coach for 7 seasons. Don grew up playing hockey in Ohio and played junior hockey for the Cleveland Jr Barons in the NAHL. Following his playing career he joined the Jr Barons as an assistant coach.

Born and raised in Nitra, Slovakia. Alex has played competitive hockey since age 6 and went through all levels of hockey until retirement at the professional level in 2015. Notable highlights include Slovakian National U16 and U17 team member, NCAA and Pro player. Alex has been coaching and training hockey players since 2012. Alex currently holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from Salem State University. Alex is the chief in charge of all on and off ice execution as well as recruiting the right staff in order to maximize each athlete’s and teams’s development.
Tyler joins our staff this summer (2025) after a successful season with Sacred Heart's ACHA team. Coach Wally also owns/operates the Mass Pioneers summer hockey team. Tyler spent three years training with Elev802 Boston and now looks forward to helping our youth players improve every time they're here.
Team USA and Boston Fleet (PWHL) forward Hannah joins our staff this summer after winning a National Championship with Ohio State University. Hannah played at Boston College for 4 seasons prior to doing a 5th year at OSU. Hannah has also represented Team USA at the World Championships five times, winning gold twice and silver three times.
Team USA and Montreal Victoire defenseman Cayla Barnes has been with Elev802 Boston for four summers and will be back again this year. Cayla has run skills sessions for our Girls Program for the past three years. A decorated member of Team USA, Cayla has represented the red white and blue 13 different times. She has played in two Olympics, nine World Championships and multiple Rivalry Series. Cayla has won 7 Gold Medals, 4 Silver Medals and an NCAA National Championship at Ohio State University.
